Dubrovnik - love at the first sight George Bernard Show said that, if you want to see a paradise on the Earth, go to Dubrovnik. Dubrovnik was founded in the first half of the 7th century. It's under UNESCO protection as the city with valuable monuments, particular history and preserved tradition. For me, as for a millions of tourists, this city is one of the most romantic and beautiful cities in the world. My parents took me there, for the first time, 43 years ago. Since then I have been spending at least a few weeks (last summer four months) every year in this pearl of the Mediterranean. I met my husband at Dubrovnik University 23 years ago (in that period I spent four lovely years in Dubrovnik). Our son has fallen in love with this city, too. There is something in the air, as the song says. Dubrovnik Summer Festival takes place from10th of July to 25th of August every summer since 1949., presenting rich and vibrant theatre program with the fields in theatre, ballet, classic music and opera. The old city of Dubrovnik and it's ancient monuments, it's rennaisance, baroque scenes are the unique stage for all these events and that's what makes Dubrovnik Summer Festival so special. Some theatre program even takes place on the nearby island of Lokrum, which is protected nature's park with straordinary monuments and history, beautiful beaches, too (there are no hotels and it's prohibited to spend a night there). The sea in the city and all around Dubrovnik area is so clean and nice that you can swim anywhere you want (taking care of your security, certainly). Lapad area is the best one for relaxing on the equipped Uvala Lapad beach or, if you prefer privacy, intimacy, on many small romantic beaches allong the pedonal walking area.

It is only 60m away apartments 504-D, 505-J and 506-M and therefore suitable also for groups up to 20 people. location is only 50m from the main Uvala Lapad beach with no stairs to climb to get to the beach, real rarity in Dubrovnik. Just stairs up to the 3rd floor in the building itself. It is suitable also for children of all ages. Post office, bus and taxi station are 75m from the building which is also close to marina where you can keep your boat docked throughout the year.
